Social media reacts to Texas’ dominant victory over Kansas

Texas dominated Kansas in Week 5.

No. 3 Texas defeated No. 24 Kansas with a 40-14 victory in Austin on Saturday.

After going into halftime up 13-7, the Longhorns scored 27 points in the second half.

If it weren’t for a fortunate fumble touchdown by Kansas, it would have been even more of a blowout, as Texas outgained Kansas in total yards 661 to 260.

Texas was in total control of the matchup, with a time of possession of 40 minutes and 26 seconds to Kansas’ 19 minutes and 34 seconds. The Longhorns also rushed for a combined 336 yards.

If Texas can learn from this week and capitalize on red zone opportunities, the Oklahoma Sooners will have a run for their money when they head south of the Red River to play the Longhorns in the Cotton Bowl.

Here are some social media reactions to Texas’ victory.
