CBS Sports’ Chris Trapasso did a 2024 NFL mock draft which included three Texas Longhorns being selected in the first round.
The three Longhorns projected in the first round are defensive lineman T’Vondre Sweat, quarterback Quinn Ewers, and wide receiver Xavier Worthy.
All three of these players have what it takes to hear their name called on night one of the NFL Draft, and I believe there could be five Longhorns go in the first round.
Some names that fly under the radar to big networks include Ja’Tavion Sanders, Adonai Mitchell, Jaylan Ford, Jerrin Thompson, and Jahdae Barron. All of them might not make it in the first round, but they all have the potential to, and that’s what matters.
