Team USA defeated Canada, 67-63, in the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup semifinals Saturday.
The game took place at Domo de la Feira in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico.
Tennessee’s Rickea Jackson recorded 11 points and six rebounds in 17 minutes for Team USA.
Jackson converted 5-of-8 field goal attempts and 1-for-2 free throw attempts.
Tennessee’s Jewel Spear recorded two points, one rebound and one assist for Team USA versus Canada.
Team USA advances to the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup finals versus Brazil on Sunday. Tipoff is slated for 8:30 p.m. EDT.
Brazil defeated Team USA, 67-54, in a preliminary round contest of the tournament.
