The 2023 NFL Draft will be here before we know it.
With roughly a month left until the first round kicks off, many NFL draft analysts are getting a feel for which teams are coveting certain players.
Some teams will hold private workouts with players and oftentimes several draft prospects will speak with the media at the NFL Combine regarding which teams they’ve heard the most from.
Texas should have at least a handful of players drafted within the seven-round event. Running back Bijan Robinson is one of the top overall players in the 2023 NFL draft, while Moro Ojomo and Roschon Johnson have seen their draft stock rise recently.
In PFF’s updated three-round NFL mock draft, Robinson was projected to the Dallas Cowboys with the No. 26 overall pick.
The Ezekiel Elliott era is over in Dallas, and though Tony Pollard will be around one more year with the franchise tag, he’ll be coming off an injury. Some Cowboys fans might roll their eyes at releasing Zeke just to draft a running back in the first round, but it is certainly possible. – Trevor Sikkema
The only other Longhorn taken off of the board in this particular mock draft was Ojomo in the third round. PFF has the Baltimore Ravens selecting Ojomo with the No. 86 overall pick.
The NFL Draft will begin on Thursday, April 27.
