As we expected, Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud balled out in his throwing workout at the 2023 NFL combine. He didn’t go through most of the workouts in Indianapolis, but what he showed in his time throwing to receivers wowed many onlookers and had Twitter ablaze with wonder.
Stroud looked smooth, poised, and skilled at throwing at all three levels of the field and fitting the ball into all the windows he needed to do. It’s not like he didn’t put that type of film out there already in live action, but doing it in front of NFL scouts, executives, and media members seems to make a difference when it comes to positioning one’s self for the NFL draft.
