The Washington Commanders sent five players to the Pro Bowl in 2022. Only, this wasn’t the traditional Pro Bowl, where many of the top players pulled out, and fans had little interest in the game.
This year, there was the Pro Bowl Games. The Pro Bowl Games began on Thursday in Las Vegas with skills competitions, which include Kick Tac-Toe, dodgeball, best catch, precision passing, longest drive and others.
The finale on Sunday featured three flag football games. The NFC, coached by Eli Manning, would defeat the AFC, coached by Peyton Manning, thanks to former Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins’ three touchdown passes in the final flag football game to lead the NFC to the win.
The five Commanders who participated in Pro Bowl Games’ weekend were defensive tackles Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne, safety/special-teamer Jeremy Reaves, wide receiver Terry McLaurin and punter Tress Way.
