Texas running back Bijan Robinson is widely projected to be selected in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
The do-it-all player is considered the No. 1 running back prospect for this draft class. While the destinations of where Robinson may land have varied, nearly every NFL mock draft has had him taken off of the board in the first round.
Some mock drafts have had Robinson selected as high as the No. 5 pick, while the majority believe he will be selected middle-to-late first round. In Luke Easterling’s latest two-round mock for Draft Wire, Robinson fell to the Baltimore Ravens with the No. 23 overall pick.
Here’s what Easterling had to say about Robinson’s fit with the Ravens.
If the Ravens are going to keep deploying such a run-heavy scheme on offense, they might need a new lead back if J.K. Dobbins isn’t able to return to form after multiple injuries. Robinson is a complete, three-down playmaker who could dominate opposing defenses that are focused on slowing down Lamar Jackson.
The first round of the 2023 NFL Draft will begin on Thursday, April 27.
