PHILADELPHIA–The Philadelphia 76ers have had a rough go at it to begin the 2022-23 season as they had gotten off to an 0-3 start. A matchup with the rebuilding Indiana Pacers did just the trick for them to finally get in the win column on Monday.
After a really bad loss to the San Antonio Spurs, it would have been equally as bad if they would have lost to Indiana. This was one the Sixers could not drop and they made sure they took care of business as James Harden set the tone with 29 points, nine rebounds, and 11 assists in a 120-106 win at home.
Joel Embiid had 26 points and five rebounds, Tobias Harris added 18 points and eight rebounds, and Georges Niang had 13 points. De’Anthony Melton had 11 and five rebounds and Danuel House Jr. added six off the bench in this one.
