Bills designate multiple players injured late vs. Titans

#Bills designate multiple players injured late vs. #Titans:

The ultimate storyline will be the Buffalo Bills demolishing the Tennessee Titans to the tune of a 41-7 win on Monday Night Football in Week 2.

Unfortunately, the injury bug might be the other.

The Bills had multiple players go down with bumps and bruises against Tennessee. At the top was cornerback Dane Jackson who suffered a scary neck injury.

However, we’ve since been told by the team that he has movement in his extremities. A very good sign.

From there, Buffalo also had a few players eventually designated with injuries after starters were pulled from the game. The Bills announced these injuries to linebacker Matt Milano, safety Micah Hyde and defensive tackle Jordan Phillips:

Hyde went down in the third quarter. He eventually walked off the field but was seen gesturing about his right arm after taking a bump high. Evidently that was a neck injury instead.

It’s unclear at this time when Milano or Phillips was injured.

Milano had a late interception on Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill. That was essentially the last play of the game for starters as both teams pulled their top players when the pick six put Buffalo up 41-7.

It’s possible both Milano and Phillips were hurt on this play.

On Phillips, the Buffalo News at least noted that he seemed to be in positive spirits following the game. Another good sign:

Additionally, two offensive linemen were briefly injured along Buffalo’s front. Mitch Morse (neck) left the contest but returned. Spencer Brown was shaken up for a moment but remained in the game.

Bills Wire will provide updates when information is made available.
