Four bold predictions for Texas’ game against Kansas

Let’s hope these come true.

Will this finally be the week that Texas ends the losing streak? Or will they continue their horrendous downward spiral and drop their fifth consecutive game?

It seems that if any Texas team were to lose to Kansas, this may be the one to do so. Steve Sarkisian and his staff have their hands full in taking this program to the next level, and all that’s left for this season is to make a bowl game.

There are a few unknowns going into this game whether it be the quarterback situation, key injuries that appear to be game-time decisions, or whether the defense can actually make adjustments.

The Longhorns should easily win this matchup as they’re favored by 30 points. Kansas has no business beating them. However, if Texas for some reason overlooks them, and is thinking about how bad of a team Kansas is, they will have a similar matchup as Oklahoma-Kansas. That would be the worst case scenario, as Texas isn’t good enough to win a game like that right now.

With the season on the line, and a handful of top recruits in attendance for the game, Texas badly needs this win. Here are four bold predictions that the Longhorns are hoping come true on Saturday.
