The Big 12 as a whole is in the midst of what looks to be the most parody we have seen within the conference in over a decade.
Oklahoma, who has had a an iron grip on the top spot in the conference, is looking more and more like we are witnessing a downfall from grace. Iowa State, who many projected to be a national contender, appear to be frauds. Schools like Texas and Baylor are looking to surpass the teams that have been running the show in the Big 12.
The Longhorns are coming off a historic win over Texas Tech that saw them score 70 points, and has convinced many that they are the front runners to win the Big 12.
247Sports posted their updated Big 12 power rankings on Tuesday, and while they may have teams like Baylor too low, they no longer view Oklahoma or Iowa State as the best teams in the conference.

It is interesting that West Virginia is ranked ahead of both Baylor and Oklahoma State, who are undefeated and ranked, whereas the Mountaineers recently lost to Oklahoma and have not shown signs of being consistent enough to be a top three team in the Big 12 yet.
Texas is taking on a solid TCU team this week, and should they win that game, they will not only have a good chance of jumping back into the AP Poll, but will also help solidify themselves as the best team in the Big 12.
