Four-star offensive tackle Cameron Williams will be announcing his commitment on Thursday, July 1.
Texas, Oklahoma, Oregon and Miami are reportedly the four finalists left in the running to land Williams. The Duncanville product is rated the No. 28 player at his position in the 2022 recruiting class according to ESPN.
In 2019, Williams was named the District 8-6A Offensive Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore. Throughout the month of June, he has taken a handful of official visits to Oregon, Texas, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Miami and Oregon,

The Longhorns extended an offer to Williams on May 5 and have quickly formed a strong relationship with the 6-foot-5, 360-pound lineman. All options are on the table at this point with how much of a rebuild offensive line coach Kyle Flood is undergoing at Texas.
Williams earned other offers from numerous Power Five programs such as LSU, Ohio State, Georgia, Auburn, Florida State and Texas A&M.
