Four-star athlete Rico Flores was recently on the Forty Acres to participate in one of Texas’ camps and take an unofficial visit.
Shortly after, Rico announced that he officially received an offer from the Longhorns. “After a great camp/unofficial visit and conversation with Steve Sarkisian and Andre Coleman, I am truly blessed to have earned an offer from the University of Texas at Austin,” the rising 2023 prospect stated via Twitter.
Rico is rated the No. 9 overall recruit from the state of California and the No. 12 prospect at his position for the 2023 cycle according to 247Sports composite rankings.
The two-way player flashed for Folsom High School in a shortened six game season as a sophomore. He compiled 31 catches for 606 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Rico is an elite route-runner with great speed and body control.
