We found out details Thursday on the Ohio State vs. Oregon matchup that will take place on Sept. 11. Now Fox has released details on a couple of other big games on the Buckeyes’ schedule.
It feels a bit odd, but Ohio State will begin the season on a Thursday night, opening Big Ten conference play on the road in Minneapolis on Sept. 2. This will be the second time in five years the Buckeyes have opened on a Thursday night. The last time was in 2017 when OSU defeated Indiana 49-21 in Bloomington.
The Gophers have a good core returning and could be a challenging test out of the gate for the Buckeyes. NFL games will not have started yet, so in prime-time on Thursday night, all eyes will be on Ohio State and Minnesota.
Fox has also released information for “The Game.” The greatest rivalry in college football, Ohio State vs. Michigan, will be played on Nov. 27 in Ann Arbor and will be the Fox Big Noon game of the week.

You might remember, Michigan had a COVID-19 outbreak right before the game last season and was unable to play. It was the first time since 1918 the two teams didn’t face each other in the regular season.
Go ahead and mark your calendars, fans. You’re going to want to make sure everything is clear for these high-profile matchups.
