Thomas Greiss (6-15-8, 2.83 GAA, .908 SV%, 1 SO) vs. Alex Nedeljkovic (13-4-3, 1.94 GAA, .932 SV%, 3 SO)
Greiss has lost just once in regulation across his past seven starts and eight appearances, including a 5-4 win in a shootout on April 10 in Raleigh against the Hurricanes. He is 1-1-0 with a 2.91 GAA and .921 SV% in two starts vs. Carolina this season.
Nedeljkovic has won five of his past six starts, going 5-0-1 during the span. And he topped the Red Wings in his most recent appearance against them on March 14 in Detroit, stopping 25 of 26 shots in the win. He is 2-0-0 with a 1.51 GAA and .951 SV% in two starts against the Wings this season.

The Hurricanes (-375) will cost you nearly four times your potential return, and that’s risky business. They have lost four of seven to the lowly Red Wings (+310) this season, and if anything, Detroit is worth a small-unit play based on the previous head-to-head results.

Against the spread (ATS)
The RED WINGS +1.5 (+120) are plus-money catching a goal and a half, and they’re a great play based upon their history against the Hurricanes -1.5 (-145) this season.
Carolina has clinched a playoff spot already, too, and while the Central Division title is definitely in play, we’ll see if they turn down the heat a little with an x- next to their name in the standings. The Canes looked good in a 5-1 win in Dallas after clinching, so the hunger might still be very much there.
Over/Under (O/U)
The UNDER 5.5 (-110) cashed in the most recent meeting in Raleigh, a 3-1 win by the Red Wings. The Under is also 2-1-1 in the past four meetings in this series, too.
