Late tomorrow morning, the No. 9-ranked Wisconsin Badgers will face off against the No. 12-ranked Michigan State Spartans in an early, yet important, Big Ten matchup. The Badgers struggled early on in their Big Ten season opener against the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Tuesday, and a convincing win against the Spartans will help Wisconsin continue to push their way to the top of the AP poll.

Brad Davison stepped up big for the Badgers against Nebraska when they were struggling early, and he finished with 15 points, seven assists, and three rebounds after starting the season pretty quietly until the loss against Marquette. Since then, Davison has averaged a team-leading 16.3 points per game. His leadership and clutch playmaking will be needed for Wisconsin to overcome a very talented Michigan State team on the road tomorrow.
This game against Michigan State will be a crucial test for this Wisconsin team, and although it is still early on in the season, it could have some significant weight in seeding for the Big Ten and NCAA tournaments with how good the Big Ten has been this season as a whole.
