Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett popped up with a knee injury on Monday’s practice report just one day after the team’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The fear was that Lockett would not be able to recover in time during the short week ahead of the Arizona Cardinals for Thursday night.
The wide receiver did not participate in practice on Monday or Tuesday but did get in some limited work during Wednesday’s walkthrough.
“He worked well today, he looked fine,” coach Pete Carroll said after practice. “I don’t think there’s any doubt that he’s playing. He just looked too good on the practice field today. We do have to see how he is after today. That’s an unknown right now, so as much as I’d like to be optimistic about it – which I am – we do have to see if anything happens coming off the work he had.”
Lockett is officially listed as questionable to play on Wednesday’s injury report.
