Ohio State officially has its second night game of the 2020 season set.
According to an announcement by the Big Ten Football Twitter account, the Buckeyes’ third game of the season against Rutgers on November 7 will be televised by BTN at 7:30 PM EDT (yes, our clocks will turn back by then). It’ll be a home game in the ‘Shoe for OSU.
It’ll be a homecoming for Scarlet Knights’ head coach Greg Schiano. He coached under former head coach Urban Meyer from 2016-2018 before leaving the Ohio State program before being hired for a second-stint in Piscataway in December of 2019.
The announcement means the Buckeyes will be playing two back-to-back night games since the game against Penn State is also scheduled to take place after dark in Happy Valley. That game will be broadcast by ABC beginning at 7:30 PM EST as well.
