Texas extended an offer to three-star offensive tackle Ryan Lengyel on Friday.
Hours later, Texas emerged as the favorites to land the 6-foot-5, 275-pound prospect. A crystal ball prediction was entered by Horns247’s Mike Roach in the Longhorns favor.
Lengyel’s recruiting trail is continuing to rise as he also picked up an offer from Baylor in July. He currently attends Jesuit, a college-preparatory school in Dallas, but he grew up watching the Longhorns and is very fond of the program.
Texas has only one offensive lineman commitment out of the 2021 recruiting class at this time.
