LOOK! Urban Meyer trolls Michigan with restaurant dining announcement

Urban Meyer’s Pint House is now accepting in-person dining, and the former Ohio State head coach took the opportunity to troll Michigan.

Old habits die hard.

Former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer spent seven official years hating on That School Up North and planning ways to beat his arch-rival since he arrived in Columbus back in November of 2011. As an Ohio native, he grew up watching the “ten-year war” between Woody Hayes and Michigan head coach Bo Schembechler. It was engrained in Meyer, and a lot of what he brought to the rivalry has remained in place under new head coach Ryan Day.

So then, we shouldn’t be surprised that the rivalry seems to leak into everyday life still for Meyer. As most of you know, he entered into a partnership to brand a restaurant with his name after retiring from coaching, and it’s been a significant hit in suburban Columbus. However, just like other eateries and businesses, Urban Meyer’s Pint House was forced to move away from public seating during the COVID-19 pandemic.

But no more.

The restaurant is now open for dine-in once again, and Meyer set it all off with an announcement on Twitter, complete with a subtle dunk on Michigan. Some of the new policies in place include spacing of tables and limited patrons, but it also includes new sanitation efforts.

But not just any sanitation efforts. No, Meyer used a picture of a presumed disinfectant spraying down a “dirty” Michigan block M. I guess if you can sanitize a Michigan logo, you can sanitize anything right Meyer?

We all know that Meyer was 7-0 against Michigan during his time wearing the headset in Columbus, but he continues to go undefeated with these sly and under the radar trolling opportunities.
