Ohio State has always been a beast when it comes to churning out players to the next level. The Buckeyes didn’t have the most players taken in the 2020 NFL Draft, but it was a close second.
LSU took the crown this year with a whopping 14 players (tied for the most with Ohio State in 2014), but in second place was a Buckeye program that has had the most NFL draft picks since the year 2000. Ohio State was tied with Michigan of all programs with ten players a piece taken through the seven rounds of the draft.
The double-digit draft picks is just the sixth time in program history that ten or more players have been selected — joining the aforementioned 2014, as well as the 1971 and 1975 drafts that had 13, the 2016 draft with 12, and 1976 with eleven.
