The Ohio State football program got yet another big-time commitment Monday with the verbal commitment of four-star athlete Jantzen Dunn out of Bowling Green, KY.
It’s been a bit of a whirlwind from Saturday through today. Many felt the 6-foot. 2-inch, 178-pounder would end up at Oklahoma, but that all changed quickly when Ohio State offered. Instead of committing to the Sooners this weekend, the nation’s No. 15 rated athlete in the class of 2021 according to 247Sports tweeted that big news was coming soon.
Then, Sooner insiders began to speculate that the tide was turning towards Ohio State. It now appears that’s exactly what has happened.
Though Dunn is listed as an athlete, he is thought to be a fit at defensive back for the Buckeyes. It is now the 17th verbal commitment already for the 2021 class for Ohio State — one that is continuing the momentum it gained since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
