All of Rutgers six wins have come at home as their best home victory came against Stephen F. Austin one game before the Lumberjacks took down Duke 85-to-83.

In this Badgers Wire feature, we will look at the three keys or questions for Wisconsin as they prepare to play Rutgers.

LAYUP: CAN KOBE KING BUILD OFF OF HIS GAME AGAINST INDIANA?

King for the second time this season lead Wisconsin in scoring as he registered a career-high 24 points on 10-for-15 shooting from the field. King was aggressive throughout the game hunting for his shot as Indiana didn’t have an answer for him.

King’s ability to get in the paint and consistently finish around the rim was important in helping Wisconsin generate a rhythm as King went 6-for-8 on his shot attempts from the paint.

However, King at times hasn’t displayed the same attacking style he demonstrated against Indiana on Saturday. Stringing together another strong performance on the offensive end will only continue to help open up other opportunities for himself when he’s on the floor. In addition, creating opportunities for his teammates.

The aggressiveness by King should also lead to free throw opportunities as well. King leads the team in free throw attempts with 36 as the only game he didn’t attempt free throws in was against New Mexico.

King’s ability to hunt for his shot early in the game and be able to generate points around the rim should allow for Wisconsin to take control of the game early like they did against Indiana.
