Georgia lost a commitment from a speedy wide receiver on Tuesday night.
Corey Wren, a three-star wide receiver in the class of 2020, tweeted that he would be re-opening his recruitment.
According to Jeff Sentell of DawgNation, Wren will no longer be considering the Bulldogs moving forward, saying it was a “situation he didn’t feel was right for him.”
Wren ranks as the 520th athlete in the class of 2020, 25th athlete and 23rd player in the state of Louisiana.
Wren originally committed to the University of Georgia over the summer, choosing the Bulldogs over Arizona State and Houston.
Georgia now has 15 commits in the class of 2020, including two four-star wide receivers Marcus Rosemy and Justin Robinson. Georgia will look to add a commitment from four-star Lakeland, Florida wide receiver Arian Smith, who ranks as the 75th overall player in the class of 2020.
The class currently ranks 5th in the nation and is highlighted by 5-stars outside linebacker Mekhail Sherman and offensive tackle Broderick Jones.
Has an official visit coming soon with the Bulldogs.
