Mom’s story
While Williams has certainly faced some adversity in his career on the field and in the stands from fans, he previously shared that he has a motivator to get him through such things. Williams draws inspiration from Lameca Williams-Hindman, his mother. As he told the Charlotte Observer in 2017, she had her first child at only 14 and suffered in an abusive relationship. But the story has a fantastic ending, as she eventually completed her secondary education and became a principal while raising five children.
“Life is tough,” he said. “My mom – leading by example, going through a tough life – she just never quit. That’s how I’ve been raised – to never quit, to persevere and keep fighting. And that’s what I did.”
First brought to my attention by @Syntari13 is this FA OL: #60 6'6" 330 Daryl Williams played 173 LT, 412 LG, 218 RG, and 45 RT snaps last year. Below is RT
Again, thinking frugal here. He's not a high-end starter but could be brought in to compete at tackle or emergency guard. pic.twitter.com/myu7OEaVBm
