A new team to hate?

Baseball is getting underway before football. MLB is slated to begin their reduced 2020 regular season later this week, actually. The New York Mets begin their slate against the Atlanta Braves. And at all costs, are the… Mets… now a must-hate team? Not yet, but might be in the future.

According to reports last week, Patriots owner Robert Kraft and his son Jonathan met up with Alex Rodriguez at Gillette Stadium. A-Rod’s finding some friends to go in on a bid with him to purchase the Mets, something that’s widely known, and evidently the 79-year-old Pats owner could be one of them.

Kraft has a reportedly $6.9 billion net worth, so he’s not the worst partner for Rodriguez to latch onto. The Mets have yet to be sold, though. So… no reason to hate them just yet.
