It’s time to win now
Alluding to the former takeaway, this move signals to the rest of the NFL that the Bills are ready to win now. After a promising 2019 season they have made a move that could put them over-the-top in terms of offensive talent. The Bills already had one of the best defenses in the league, and now they have the offensive firepower to put them in contention as one of the best teams in the AFC.
This sort of move is only heightened by the fact that Buffalo’s arch-rival, Tom Brady has left New England for greener pastures. This is the time for Buffalo to secure dominance in the AFC East, especially since this isn’t the Bills rolling the dice in the draft, nor is it a trade-up in the draft. The Bills landed a product which is proven in the NFL. Diggs is good, and has the 1,000-yard seasons to prove it.
