5 storylines to follow during Bills at Cowboys

The Bills visit the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday for a Thanksgiving Day meeting. It’s the first time in about 25 seasons that the Bills have had the national spotlight on them while turkey was being served.

Revenge game for Cole Beasley?

He says no, we’re all hoping yes.

It’s a bit of a tongue-and-cheek remark, but if there’s one player on the Bills that’s ready for Thanksgiving football, it’s Beasley. He has plenty of experience doing so, because he spent the first seven years of his NFL career with the Cowboys.

This is just pure speculation. Beasley himself said he has no “ill-will” toward his former team. But think about it. He said himself he’ll have a bigger role with the Bills offense when he signed with Buffalo this offseason, he’s a Texas native, and he started his career there. Under the national spotlight, you don’t want to make an impact?

Plus. Beasley’s warmed up lately, too. Over the past month-plus, Beasley made impacts. But not a full impact. He would score, but only catch two passes in a game. Then he’d hit a few grabs, but for minimal yards.

Last week Beasley scored, had six catches and 76 yards. That’s an all-around outing one could bet he’d like to repeat against this specific team.
