5 storylines to follow during Bills at Cowboys

The Bills visit the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday for a Thanksgiving Day meeting. It’s the first time in about 25 seasons that the Bills have had the national spotlight on them while turkey was being served.

Will pass rush continue making an impact?

Over the past two games, the Bills have picked up 11 total sacks combined. The Dolphins’ offensive line isn’t great like the rest of their roster. Denver’s is better, but a few of them are banged up, as is the Cowboys’ offensive line. But undoubtedly, the Cowboys O-line is one of the best the Bills will face this season.

This offensive line is legit. The Cowboys have two linemen in the top-10 of their position rankings via Pro Football Focus’ grading system in guard Zack Martin and tackle La’el Collins. They both fall into PFF’s “elite” category with grades of 88.1 and 83.1 overall, respectively. But don’t sleep on left tackle Tyron Smith, either. He’s at an above average grade of 71.1 and grades as PFF’s 20th best tackle in the league.

Shaq Lawson had two sacks for the Bills last week, but he, Jerry Hughes, Ed Oliver and the rest of the Bills’ defensive front, will have their hands full this week, not to mention, these guys can run block for Zeke Elliot just as well as they can pass block.
