Four-star class of 2023 defensive tackle recruit Sydir Mitchell has named his top schools. Mitchell is ranked as the No. 225 recruit in his class and is the third-best recruit in New Jersey. The 6-foot-5, 335-pound defensive lineman is rated as the No. 32 player at his position.
Mitchell plays high school football for Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell, New Jersey. Oradell is located north of New York City.
The Bergen Catholic star has taken recent visits to Auburn and Georgia. Mitchell projects as a nose tackle in a 3-4 defensive scheme or a defensive tackle in a 4-3 defensive scheme. Mitchell plans to play in the Under Armour All-America Game in 2023.
Mitchell ranks Georgia, Texas, Miami, LSU, Auburn, Rutgers, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Texas A&M in his top nine schools. The four-star defensive line recruit plans to focus his attention on these nine schools for the remainder of his recruiting process.
I would like to thank all the coaches that have extended scholarship offers to me. All are blessings and I am appreciative. With that being said these are the 9 schools that my family and I will focus on. #HookEm #GigEm #GoDawgs #GBO #BBN #CHOP #GoCanes #GeauxTigers #WarEagle pic.twitter.com/i99U3bpg5B
