– The formula works. Seattle takes a lot of players, cuts the dead weight as soon as possible, and goes for the strength-in-numbers call. Outside of Syracuse pass rusher Alton Robinson, there isn’t any one pick that looks that great value-wise, but it’s Seattle. At least three of these selections will make an impact.
– It was an interesting call to go Brooks over LSU LB Patrick Queen. When it comes to guys who fit exactly what the Seahawks like to do, Queen is the elite athlete who was right there for the taking. He went one pick after Brooks to Baltimore.
