Which NFL teams did the best and worst jobs? The 2020 NFL Draft team rankings of all 32 teams, from the college perspective.

31. New Orleans Saints 2020 NFL Draft

– Uhhhhhhh, okay. The Saints aren’t all that big on drafting for value, and they didn’t have a whole lot to work with in this year’s draft. They didn’t really need a center, and they overpaid for Cesar Ruiz with 24. They needed more wide receiver help, and there were plenty there in the first round and throughout the third when they had their chances.

– Where’s the help for the defensive side? Zack Baun is a first round talent who slid thanks to an off urine test at the combine, but that’s it. On the plus side, getting him and TE Adam Trautman in the third were two nice gets.

– The 7th round is a waste of time anyway, but Tommy Stevens? Really? For a team that didn’t go after much for its overall needs, that’s where you take a flier on an athlete who can help you in a variety of ways. Stevens is a quick cut if and when Jameis Winston is signed on.

Best Value Pick: LB Zack Baun, Wisconsin (3rd)
Biggest Reach: C/OG Cedar Ruiz, Michigan (1st)
Late Flier That Could Work: TE Adam Trautman, Dayton (3rd)
2019 NFL Draft Ranking: 31
2018 NFL Draft Ranking: 28
