2020 NFL Draft Team Rankings, All 32 From The College Perspective

Which NFL teams did the best and worst jobs? The 2020 NFL Draft team rankings of all 32 teams, from the college perspective.

19. New York Giants 2020 NFL Draft

– This is the New York Giants deciding to be the New York Giants again. To do that, the offensive line has to be fantastic so the backfield tandem of Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley can have a fighting chance. However, Andrew Thomas was a massive stretch at the 4. The Georgia OT is a fantastic prospect, but it’s a loaded group at the position and there should’ve been some way to trade down considering the quarterbacks that went right after.

– It wasn’t just Thomas. Getting Matt Peart in the third and Shane Lemieux in the fifth kept the commitment to the O line going, and then it was all about the linebacking corps. Four linebackers were selected, but they were all taken in the final two rounds, including Mr. Irrelevant, Tae Crowder of Georgia. If just one turns into a real starter, consider it a success.

– Alabama S Xavier McKinney fell right into their lap at the 36. Combine him with CB Darnay Holmes in the fourth round, and the Giants did a great job of addressing the secondary needs.

Best Value Pick: S Xavier McKinney, Alabama (2nd)
Biggest Reach: OT Andrew Thomas, Georgia (1st)
Late Flier That Could Work: LB Carter Coughlin, Minnesota (7th)
