1st Lions injury report for Week 11 sees 6 players sidelined

1st Lions injury report for Week 11 sees 6 players sidelined including C Frank Ragnow and WR Josh Reynolds

The first practice participation report for Week 11 saw six Detroit Lions players sitting out practice completely. Not every absence is the same, however.

For the second week in a row, head coach Dan Campbell gave out a veteran day off. Last week it was RB Jamaal Williams, and this time it’s left tackle Taylor Decker. Williams also sat out Wednesday with an undisclosed illness.

The other four who missed the first prep session for the New York Giants game on Sunday:

WR Trinity Benson (knee)

DE Josh Paschal (knee)

C Frank Ragnow (foot)

WR Josh Reynolds (back)

Ragnow left Soldier Field in Chicago in a walking boot after Sunday’s win. Campbell indicated that Ragnow no longer had the boot on the foot and that “he feels a little bit better.”

Safety DeShon Elliott was limited on Wednesday as he progresses through the NFL’s concussion protocol. Elliott left Sunday’s win with a brain injury suffered when trying to tackle Bears QB Justin Fields.

Everyone else was a full go, including RB D’Andre Swift and LB Malcolm Rodriguez, who missed the Week 10 game with an elbow injury.
