Zed Key and Kyle Young unavailable for game against Michigan State

We’ll have to see how this impacts Ohio State on the blocks against Michigan State. #GoBucks

The Ohio State basketball team is reeling. After being right in the thick of the Big Ten regular-season title race, the Buckeyes have lost two in a row, and three of five to make it even a tough journey to even get a double-bye in the upcoming Big Ten Tournament.

If OSU has any designs of finishing in the top four and being in a good position, it absolutely must take care of business against Michigan State on Thursday night. Unfortunately, big men Zed Key and Kyle Young will be unavailable (subscription may be required) for the game in the Schott according to the availability report, leaving the Ohio State frontcourt thin and depleted.

Key rolled an ankle against Sunday and is still recovering, while Young left the game against Nebraska with an undisclosed illness. This team is struggling enough without having some of its key contributors, but it must continue on against a Spartan ballclub that’s also looking to turn things around.

You can catch the game at 7 p.m. EST and see if Ohio State can get back in the win column.
