Last week, former Michigan State Basketball big man Xavier Tillman got to make his dreams come true when he was drafted No. 35 overall in the 2020 NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies. On Saturday, that was made official when Tillman signed a four-year rookie deal with the Grizzlies.
The news was first broken by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

As noted by ‘Woj’ in his tweet announcing the deal, the Grizzlies moved up in the draft via trade to secure Tillman. Tillman will now join a Memphis team that also has his former AAU and college teammate Jaren Jackson Jr. on the roster.
