With streak on the line, Peter King predicts Bills as Super Bowl champion

With streak on line, Peter King predicts #Bills as Super Bowl champion:

The Buffalo Bills have a very good omen going for them.

Longtime NFL writer Peter King has predicted the past four Super Bowl winners in a row correctly.

Now take a guess as to who he thinks will hoist the Lombardi Trophy in 2023?

That’s right: The Bills.

In his latest “Football Morning in America” column at NBC Sports, King predicted the entire 2022 NFL postseason. The ending is Buffalo over the Green Bay Packers to the tune of a 30-23 score.

King explained how he did not let the way the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Bills in last year’s playoffs to “scar” what he thought heading into this season.

In fact, King saw a silver lining:

The 42-36 overtime loss in Kansas City eight days later didn’t scar what I thought of this team entering 2022. There was one major benefit to the heartbreak in Missouri—it forced GM Brandon Beane to buttress the pass-rush by paying huge money for a 33-year-old edge player, Von Miller. Now, Miller’s probably going to the Hall of Fame one day, and he upgrades Buffalo’s rush immeasurably. But he’s 33, and he’s got to last five months, and he’s got to be playing at his peak at the end of those five months. That’s a big question mark, but it’s also a challenge the Bills are happy to be able to manage.

Take any good signs you can get, Buffalo.

After all, who ever said “unlucky number five”? Nobody.

Lock the Bills in with this can’t-lose bet… even if they are the favorite.
