Wisconsin star cornerback Ricardo Hallman announced on ‘X’ earlier today that he will be returning to Madison for the 2024 football season.
The redshirt sophomore started all 13 games for the Badgers in 2023, recording 34 tackles, three tackles for loss, seven interceptions, one touchdown and five passes deflected.
BallySports’ Dave Heller noted that Hallman’s eight career interceptions is one away from being tied for ninth on Wisconsin’s all-time list, two away from being tied for seventh and six away from passing Scott Nelson for fifth all-time.
The standout from Florida was eligible for the NFL Draft, and obviously had the option with everyone else across the sport to enter the transfer portal. His return is big news for a Wisconsin defense that had an up-and-down 2023 campaign.

Hallman is set to lead a cornerback room that added former Toledo Ronald Delancy III in the transfer portal earlier this offseason.
