There have been no shortage of great walk-ons in Wisconsin football history, with J.J. Watt headlining a long tradition of Badger walk-on’s making an impact.
Wisconsin extended a few preferred walk-on offers this week, and one went out to a 6-foot-9, 285-pound offensive lineman from Monona Grove High School in Wisconsin. The Badgers offered offensive tackle Sam Hawker, who currently holds an offer from Valporaiso, as well as walk-on offers from Miami and now the Badgers.
He would bring serious size to Wisconsin’s line if Hawker does indeed go with the preferred walk-on offer from the Badgers.
