Wisconsin basketball picked to finish in the bottom half of the Big Ten by media

A look at where Big Ten media expects Wisconsin basketball to finish in 2021-22

While the Big Ten doesn’t release an official preseason media poll anymore, writers throughout the conference got together to create one. Those results became public today, and as expected Wisconsin basketball was further down the list than Badger fans are used to.

The poll took two writers from each of the 14 Big Ten schools and had them vote on the final conference standings. Wisconsin was picked to finish 10th in the conference, and votes for the Badgers ranged from 7th to 12th place. Michigan barely edged Purdue for who was picked to in the Big Ten.
