Wisconsin walk-on shooting guard commit Luke Haertle has been an accomplished multi-sport standout at Lake Country Lutheran high school.
On the hardwood however, the 6-foot-4 shooting guard recently amassed 2,000 career points scored.
Per Wissports, that makes Haertle just the 45th player in Wisconsin high school basketball history to reach that scoring mark.
His active point total of 2,040 is the most of any active high school player in the state of Wisconsin.
Haertle announced his commitment to play basketball at the University of Wisconsin as a preferred walk-on back in November. He’ll join Connor Essegian as the only other member of UW’s 2022 recruiting class.
