Will the Boston Celtics regret trading Robert Williams III?

How are we feeling about the risk and potential Boston traded to the Portland Trail Blazers?

The Boston Celtics gave up on a former starter and Defensive Player of the Year candidate in big man Robert Williams III when they traded him alongside the NBA’s 2023 Sixth Man of the Year Malcolm Brogdon for former Milwaukee Bucks All-Star guard Jrue Holiday on this past Sunday.

How are we feeling about the risk and potential Boston traded to the Portland Trail Blazers? How about whether or not the Celtics need more at the center position given oft-unavailable center Kristaps Porzingis’ injury history and veteran forward Al Horford’s age heading into next season? The hosts of the CLNS Media “Garden Report” podcast took some time to talk through their feelings specifically about Timelord and his inclusion in the deal on a recent episode.

Take a look at the clip embedded above to hear what they had to say about losing Williams to the Blazers.
