Will Howard was among the three postgame interviews for Ohio State football. Howard, Ryan Day, and Jeremiah Smith all were immediately seen by ESPN following the throttling of Oregon.
The Buckeyes, who went into the half up 34-8, ended up taking down the No. 1 Oregon Ducks 41-21. Howard led the charge, finishing the game with 319 yards and three passing touchdowns, having completed 17 of 26 pass attempts.
Howard gave the most notable quote after the battle, telling the reporter that the Buckeyes came out and “played angry.” That’s what propelled their victory, and their play clearly backed that up.

Ohio State’s Smith had arguably his most impressive performance of the season as well. He had 187 receiving yards and two touchdowns on the game on a mere seven receptions.
The Buckeyes lost to Oregon 32-31 earlier in the season, and that loss was mainly due to their inability to slow down the Ducks red-hot offense, led by Dillon Gabriel, who had 299 yards and two touchdowns in the Rose Bowl defeat.
Ohio State’s defense did that Wednesday, and it’ll move on to face the Texas Longhorns in the College Football Playoff semifinal.
