2015: TE A.J. Derby, Patriots
Derby has bounced around a bit. His rookie season in New England ended before it began, landing on injured reserve in the preseason. In 2016, after four games with the Pats, he was traded to the Denver Broncos for a fifth-round pick.
He had 16 catches for 160 yards in six games for Denver.
In 2017, he played nine games for the Broncos and caught another 19 passes before landing on injured reserve and then getting an injury settlement. He was signed by the Miami Dolphins and played there for two games. He played five games for the Dolphins in 2018 and landed on IR again. He spent training camp and the preseason with the New Orleans Saints in 2019 but was cut before the season and remains unsigned.
