Texas gained serious momentum on the recruiting trail throughout the last month.
The Longhorns currently have the No. 17 recruiting class in the country for the 2024 cycle, according to On3’s industry ranking. The group is headlined by four-star running back Jerrick Gibson and four-star wide receiver Aeryn Hampton.
Texas’ class of 13 commits consists of eight four-star players and and five-three star players. However, Steve Sarkisian’s staff is in the lead for a major five-star prospect in Colin Simmons.
