Texas defensive tackle Byron Murphy put on a show at the 2024 NFL Combine.
Murphy ran a 4.87 40-yard dash with a 1.69 10-yard split and showcased a 33-inch vertical jump. He looked smooth and powerful in the agility drills as well, often garnering positive remarks from NFL Network commentators.
Over the last few months, many NFL draft analysts tabbed Murphy as the No. 1 defensive tackle in this draft class. Whether or not Murphy is the first interior defensive lineman taken off the board in April is unknown, but he solidified himself as a first-round draft pick this week at the very least.
Here’s a look at how Murphy ranked among other defensive tackles at the NFL Combine on Thursday.
