The LSU Tigers had 14 players selected in the 2020 NFL draft. Heading into the 2021 draft, two former Tigers players are listed as first-round selections.

CBS Sports updated its 2021 NFL mock draft on Tuesday, and have two former LSU receivers being selected within the first 32 picks.

Both Ja’Marr Chase and Terrace Marshall Jr. had outstanding careers for the LSU football program.

Chase opted out of the 2020 college football season during the offseason. The 2019 Biletnikoff Award winner was already a top 10 lock before choosing to not play this season.

As for Marshall Jr., he decided to play seven games before he opted out last week as LSU was set to face Alabama.

Here is CBS Sports’ updated mock draft listing where the two former Tigers could land.

WR Ja’Marr Chase-Philadelphia Eagles (Round 1, Pick 6)

It’s no surprise that Chase is still being listed as a top 10 selection. Throughout this season, the former LSU receiver had been projected in the top five to different teams.

The Eagles need another lethal wide receiver, and Chase would fit the offense perfectly.

Philadelphia is currently 3-8-1 on the season. Its top target, Travis Fulgham, has 33 receptions for  467 yards and four touchdowns. The Eagles selected former TCU receiver Jalen Reagor with the 21st overall pick in the 2020 draft.

Selecting Chase at No. 6 overall would immediately boost the Eagles’ outside threats.
