LSU landed its first running back commitment in the 2024 cycle on Thursday in [autotag]Caden Durham[/autotag].
While LSU landed the four-star, top-200 prospect from Duncanville, Texas, the Tigers did miss on Durham’s high school teammate in [autotag]Colin Simmons[/autotag], a five-star edge rusher who was LSU’s top target.
Picking up both would have put the Tigers squarely in the top five of the 2024 recruiting rankings, but Durham’s addition was still enough to give LSU a boost.
The Tigers’ class now ranks seventh according to 247Sports, and it moved up in On3’s team rankings, as well. Here’s how On3’s top 15 looks following the addition of Durham.
