As is every year, Texas will have high expectations heading into the 2021 college football season.
The energy and excitement has seemingly skyrocketed since head coach Steve Sarkisian has arrived on the Forty Acres. He’s inheriting an incredibly talented roster led by star running back Bijan Robinson.
Texas concluded the 2020 season with a 7-3 overall record and an Alamo Bowl victory over Colorado. As close as they were to an undefeated season, the Longhorns were also inches away from dropping at least five games.
Sarkisian and his staff are hoping to improve year over year to get Texas back to national title contention. Are the expectations for Sarkisian’s first season already too high?
