No. 24 Oklahoma and Texas Tech are meeting this Saturday night out in west Texas for a Halloween night showdown.
For the Sooners, they’re looking to keep things rolling after back-to-back wins following two straight losses to open Big 12 play. The margin for error in staying alive in the conference title race is very slim at this point, so every game is essentially do-or-die for them if they want to capture that sixth straight league crown.
For the Red Raiders, they are still trying to find their identity in the second year under head coach Matt Wells. They’ve suffered numerous tough losses over the past couple of years, including a late-game collapse this season against Texas.
However, Texas Tech is coming off a solid win over West Virginia last weekend – so there is some level of confidence for them heading into this game.
